On Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 2:00 AM EDT / 6:00 AM UTC, a limited number of Rithum for Brands clients will undergo scheduled offline maintenance which will take up to 3 hours to complete.
- If your account is scheduled for maintenance, you will receive an email 2 weeks in advance of the scheduled maintenance, a message center alert will be surfaced in your account, and an in-app message will appear.
During this time most services will be suspended, including access to our application, API, webhooks, FTP, inventory and order processing, as well as system communication with all channels and clients. This will impact most Rithum for Brands services, such as the following:
- Users will be unable to log in to our application - All API requests will fail and need to be resent later - Webhook deliveries will be withheld and will retried once maintenance is complete - FTP, SFTP & Partner FTP file transfers will fail
Note: Digital marketing pixel tracking and image hosting will operate normally, though dynamically-generated thumbnail images from image hosting might not appear correctly.
Clients do not need to do anything but may optionally choose to pause some communications to API and FTP, and either de-list low-inventory products, or increase listing buffer quantities on each channel ahead of the maintenance to avoid overselling.
- During the maintenance window, do not directly communicate changes to channels regarding order data, shipments, or inventory updates because doing so could interfere with the communications that our system will send once maintenance ends. - To de-list low inventory products, at least 30 minutes in advance of the maintenance start time, remove the defined channel labels from the products or drop the available quantity to zero. - To modify quantity buffers, refer to Step 3 on Configure channel settings (https://knowledge.channeladvisor.com/kc?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0011846)
Once maintenance is complete, our system will automatically process all feeds, orders and notifications queued during the maintenance with no action required on your part. Any API communication attempted during the maintenance will need to be resent.
